Grady Hospital

Grady was founded to offer medical care to people regardless of their ability to pay. If you have low-to-no income, you should apply for the Financial Assistance Program, a.k.a. “The Grady Card”. This program essentially acts as an in-house insurance plan for all Grady services, but it requires that you complete an application and meet with a staff financial counselor. If you have Georgia Medicaid, you DO NOT need a Grady Card. If you have Medicare, you DO need a Grady Card.

How to Replace Your ID in Atlanta

MARTA Reduced Fare Card

A MARTA Reduced Fare card is available to qualified individuals, reducing the cost of a one-way trip from $2.50 to $1.00. To qualify for the Reduced Fare MARTA Breeze card, you must meet one of the following requirements:

  • A SENIOR CITIZEN age 65 or older, must provide valid photo ID with date of birth such as a driver’s license, state issued identification or passport. Reduced Fare Form required.
  • Proof of a PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY by presenting one of the following and the Reduced Fare Form:
    • Social security disability
    • Veteran’s Administration (Service-connected VA data card)
    • Disabled parking permit
    • Or complete and submit the Healthcare Provider form
  • MEDICARE CARD (red/white/blue) Reduced Fare Form required

NOTE: All documentation must be accompanied by a valid photo ID.
